that matters.

Learning should start with curiosity.

At edgi, I turned questions about the world into stories people wanted to watch and grew our user base from 1,500 to 16,000 students across the world.

The videos

edgi-tok

bite-sized bits of knowledge

Educational creators like Hank Green, Kurzgesagt, 3Blue1Brown, and Johnny Harris have built huge audiences, but there was still a gap in fostering discussion and curiosity to go beyond the videos. We created bite-sized videos that spark students’ curiosity about the world around them, followed by thoughtful questions they can explore and discuss with each other.

I owned these videos end-to-end. From developing the ideas, writing the scripts, filming, and editing.

edgi librarian

An LLM-powered educational assistant serving 15,000+ monthly active users through messaging apps like WhatsApp and iMessage. Built by our four-person team during the GPT-3.5 era, it uses retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and vector embeddings to make educational videos searchable and interactive, enabling students to ask questions, receive contextually relevant answers, and engage directly with the source videos.

In the press

A personality that travelled.

I owned social posts end-to-end, from ideation to designing graphics and writing copy. I carried that same playful voice into our merchandise.

So, how did I end up at edgi?

It started with a letter I wrote because I was bored in choir.
